Welcome to the new Torian duology with some amazing mixed creature characters. Our leading lady (MFC) is Elva, a half-siren, half-selkie.
Elva is a hard nut to crack with very thick walls around her to protect herself from everyone except her twin brother and his husband. She is a skilled fighter and trained with the Siren warriors for years before being exiled by her sisters for not being able to produce any children-the main goal of a siren.
She's now hunting for a place to call home where she can live out her days with her brother and brother-in-law.
Sindri

Intro:
Welcome to Elva's other half. No not the love interest, but rather her twin brother, Sindri.
In my world male sirens are VERY rare. Less than 10% of siren pregnancies produce a male child, and from those only about 5% are sirens. The other 95% are born whatever their father is, so Sindri is special, and yes he knows it which drives his sister crazy. That and that he's older by a few minutes.
Leifur

Job: Blacksmith
Intro:
Today we are meeting Sindri's better half, his husband. With how rare male sirens are, the fact that Sindri refused to even consider a relationship with a female siren really displeased the Siren Queen. This mess was only made worse when he fell in love with Leifur, one of the finest siren males they had. The fact that Elva introduced them was the final straw for her, and led to her banishment. Ultimately that resulted in Sindri and Leifur leaving with her.
Leifur is a very kind, sensitive siren, despite working as a blacksmith. He loves his husband and sister-in-law fiercely and will do anything to protect them.
Njall
half human - half unknown
Age: 27
Title: Prince of Tyndorf (5th ranked)
Intro:
Say hello to Njall. He is the 2nd POV character in the book, so yes our MMC, and yes he is ranked lower than a deceased princess in his father's eyes. The king had children with monsters to create powerful heirs, which Ingvar, Hulda, and Baldr turned out. The late princess was born fully monster and so of no use to him, and Njall is too much human.
He spent years trying to make his father proud but never could, so now he has decided to just live his life. Spending most of his time in the town, specifically at a bar on the outskirts, as far away as possible from the castle, he gets along well with his people. He also had a great relationship with Hulda and Baldr, but is too similar to Ingvar, and so they fight. That's another reason he stays away from the castle unless his brother is off on a military campaign.
So when the kingdom is attacked by rival kingdoms and both Njall and Hulda are kidnapped, the king puts his resources into getting back his daughter, and not bothering with his least favourite son. That's where Elva, Leifur and Sindri come in and make their deal to get the land they so desperately want.
Baldr
Half satyr - half human
Age: 26

Intro:
Now you have the pleasure of meeting Baldr. He's the baby of the group, since saytar's have extra long pregnancies in my word. As the 3rd ranked he spends his life partying and sleeping his way they the noble ladies of Tyndorf.
Despite his physical strength Ingvar doesn't consider him a threat, Hulda and Njall adore him, and even his father has accepted that he's more Saytar than man, when it comes to his personality. So he's left to do as he pleases.
A flirty cinnamon roll, he's the polar opposite of both his older brothers. The kind brother to Ingvar's wickedness, and the relaxed one to Njall's up-tightness. He's a delight to write with his witty comebacks and his natural flirty lines.
Hulda
half sorceress - half human
Age: 27
Title: Princess of Tyndorf (2nd ranked)
Intro:
Here you get to meet Hulda. She's half human, half sorceress (Tiere if we're being specific), and so the 2nd ranked of the kings children. For anyone who's read my series she gives off hard core Gryphon energy, and is sassy, confident and not afraid to put people in their place. In an event to settle her down, her father put his foot down making her finally marry her long time lover, the general of Tyndorf.
She is very loved by the people, her other brothers, and even Ingvar likes her, and he hardly likes anyone. Her abduction is the catalyst that starts the adventure our main characters go on.

Half werewolf - half human
Age: 27
Title: Crown Prince of Tyndorf (1st ranked)
Intro:
Say hello to Ingvar. He is ranked 1st by his father, (though he's 3rd born), because he is half-werewolf and incredibly strong and powerful. The wolf in him gives him a very dominate personality, and he's not afraid to let his alpha male show. Being the 'chosen one' of the king's children he expects to be obeyed by everyone and is furious when he doesn't get his own way. He has even gone so far to rank his siblings according to his own beliefs in what makes them worthy.
While he's a stereotypical alpha-hole, he is very protective of his people and the kingdom since he was taught from a young age to put Tyndorf above all else.
